A 20 años de la primera publicación del Panorama Laboral analizamos los desafíos que hoy enfrentan América Latina y el Caribe, vemos en retrospectiva dos décadas esencialmente distintas para los mercados laborales de la región y visualizamos el futuro inmediato con la preocupación que generan algunos rasgos presentes en la economía y en los mercados laborales. La pérdida de dinamismo económico impactó al mercado de trabajo en América Latina y el Caribe. En 2013 los indicadores laborales revelan un estancamiento del progreso que había caracterizado los años anteriores.
